- In November, Infinix introduced the Smart 8 featuring the Unisoc T606 SoC and a 13MP main camera.

- The brand recently launched the Smart 8 in India with the Helio G36 SoC and an upgraded 50MP primary camera.

- The 50MP camera is accompanied by an undisclosed additional camera, possibly for auxiliary functions.
- For selfies and video calls, the smartphone includes an 8MP front camera in a centered punch-hole of the 6.6" 90Hz HD+ LCD, boasting 500 nits peak brightness.

- Similar to the Unisoc version, the MediaTek variant incorporates the Dynamic Island-like Magic Ring feature for background calls and displaying battery charging status.

- The MediaTek model runs on Android 13 Go-based XOS 13 and is available in a single 4GB/64GB memory configuration, with a dedicated microSD card slot supporting expansion up to 1TB.

- Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C, selfie flashlight, and a 5,000 mAh battery, likely supporting 10W charging. DTS sound processing is also included.
- The Infinix Smart 8 in India is priced at INR7,499 ($90/€80) and is offered in Rainbow Blue, Shiny Gold, Timber Black, and Galaxy White colors. It will be available for sale on Flipkart soon.
