"OnePlus Nord N30 SE Unveils Surprising Changes: MediaTek Chip, 4GB RAM, and More!"
The OnePlus Nord N30 SE might not be what we initially expected. Despite earlier assumptions that it would be a rebranded OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, recent Geekbench test results reveal significant differences. The CPH2605 model, supposedly the N30 SE, runs on a MediaTek 6020 chip, while the Nord CE 3 Lite and N30 use the Snapdragon 695.
Moreover, the N30 SE appears to have only 4GB of RAM, unlike its siblings with 8GB as standard. The MediaTek 6020 is slightly slower than the Snapdragon 695, which aligns with the observed changes. In comparison to the previous generation N20 5G and N20 SE, the N30 SE seems to be a lower-end model, despite having 5G connectivity.
The device is expected to feature a 4,880mAh battery (likely 5,000mAh typical) with 33W fast charging. In contrast, the Nord 3 CE Lite and N30 have 5,000mAh batteries with 67W and 50W charging, respectively. Notably, the listed OS version is Android 13, which is expected for a budget-friendly device. The exact pricing is yet to be determined, but it's anticipated to be less than the N30's launch price of USD 300/CAD 380.
