"Samsung Galaxy A35 Leaked Geekbench Scores Hint at Early Prototype, Exynos 1380 Chipset, and 6GB RAM Option"
Samsung Galaxy A35
which was initially showcased in renders a couple of months ago, recently made an appearance on Geekbench, shedding light on some key specifications. It is set to be equipped with the Exynos 1380 chipset, and there will be a variant offering 6 GB of RAM. However, the benchmark results, with a score of 697 for single-core performance and 2,332 for multiple cores, seem a bit underwhelming when compared to another Galaxy A device featuring the same chipset. It's crucial to note that this could be attributed to the device being in the early prototype stage, and improvements in raw performance are expected by the time the phone is officially launched.
Geekbench, while not explicitly mentioning the chipset, has identified it as the Exynos 1380 based on the motherboard's s5e8835 model number and the processor details. The Galaxy A35's CPU configuration includes 4x2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 and 4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55, a setup also employed by the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy M54/F54.
Despite the benchmark results suggesting a somewhat slower performance for a device within the Galaxy A5x series, it is anticipated that the Exynos 1380 will be well-suited for the more budget-friendly Galaxy A35. This Samsung-built SoC is expected to bring significant improvements compared to previous A3x devices, which featured CPUs with only two cores dedicated to performance.
